Samsung's latest speed of converting router radio waves into energy

Samsungs latest speed of converting router radio waves into energy

Samsung has upgraded the solar powered device cut down at CES 2022. Along with using light to charge the battery, Samsung claims that the latest Eco Remote can turn waves of radio routers to energy to stay fully charged.

It's a good idea to use radio waves from routers to charge the battery, as that energy will otherwise go to waste. Several companies have been resorting to radio frequency (RF) cutting over the past several years, although the approach seems to be most suitable for low - power devices such as TV repeaters.

There is a solar panel behind the remote, which has special buttons for streaming apps like Netflix, Disney + and Prime Video. The remote is made of recycled materials, which aligns with Samsung’s sustainability efforts. While last year's Solar Cell Remote Control was only available in black, by 2022, there's a white option in matching the look of Samsung's lifestyle TV.
