Star Trek Discovery rests unexpectedly with return of Star Trek

Star Trek: Lorg taking an unorganized break in the season following his next program on December 30, Gizmodo reported. It will be off for a month and a half until February 10, essentially making way for the next season of kids-oriented children Próg Star Star, ready to return on January 6th.

Lorg took a similar mid - season break in season one, but this time there's more content to fill the gap. After returning in February and finishing his run, the second season of Picard should be ready for launch. The idea was that there would be enough Star Trek series to make the run almost continuous a Paramount goal when Lorg first launched in 2022.

Discovery 's fourth season has got off to a strong creative launch, thanks in part to a more episodic format that will make it easier for casual fans to follow. In terms of content, however, the season began controversially when Paramount announced that the series would be pulled from Netflix in non - US areas. Season 4 is now streaming on Pluto TV in some European countries, at least until Paramount + can expand to those regions.
