This week, ServiceNow introduced apps for their own employees that focused on employee preparation checks, health screening, workplace safety, and global PPE levels management. Bedi said it plans to integrate biometrics into the employee health screening app. The workplace safety app will help facility managers figure out where people should park and when cleaning crews should come in based on workforce flow, he said.
Regarding advice for other HR professionals on how to navigate the new routine, Wadors said it will take about 21 days to create a habit, and that people who were initially willing to work remotely have changed learning. The last few months have been an experimental stage. Officials now need to explore how they can improve innovation and improve work / life balance, she said.
"We are completely imperfect. Changes are needed," Wadors said. "Employees love choice; it helps reduce anxiety… make sure they know they are at the heart of your universe."
Working and collaborating from anywhere
